Background

About Us

“Persatuan Alumni India Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP)” also known as UMP Indian Alumni Association (UIAA) was established on the 19th February 2020 by the Registrar of Societies (ROS) Malaysia.

Generally, Indian Alumni graduated from UMP comprises of a variety of engineering courses and technology-based programmes, including the high-level Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) since the year 2002.

UIAA has been formed to create a network amongst the former UMP Indian graduates and associates who will then help to raise the good reputation of UMP and encourage members of the alumni to be an active community and embark on professionalism with soft skills, broader networking and leadership skills.

UIAA also vowed to create a positive impact on every UMP Indian student, such as helping them to develop industrial skills, grooming respectful personalities, grab opportunities while socializing, and guiding them to improve the life quality of another Indian alumni.

  • Blue symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven.
  • Green symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety.
  • White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the colour of perfection.
  • Yellow is the colour of sunshine, hope, and happiness, positivity, clarity, energy, optimism, enlightenment and remembrance.
